We Made It
After 22 hours on a plane... we are here and it is beautiful! The Chinese people that we have encountered so far have been so kind and they have gone out of their way to help us. We are located on Shamian Island and it is wonderful. Here are a couple of pics... no they are not of Kellum-Ann yet, those will come in two more days. Thank you for the prayers.
Photo Descriptions:
- The Waterfall is in the lobby of our hotel, it is really nice!
- We went walking in the park and we were watching some adults playing hacky sack. Well... they invited us to join them, so of course Nathan and I took them up on it. They were very patient with Nathan and cheered him on!
- This is the Pearl River (the view from our hotel room)
- The picture of all 3 of us was taken by man that was seated beside us. It shows how grateful and happy we were to be touching down safely in China!
- The last one is of Nathan sleeping. He got alot of sleep and has been hanging from the ceiling since we have arrived! As you can see he got alot of use out of the eye masks given to us by China Southern Airlines.

What an experience.... the photos are beautiful. You guys have been in our prayers daily. Vicki I know you haven't gotten a chance to read the article from the Leader but it was a wonderful article.... so full of hope and love. We are so thankful for your safe trip and pray that everything continues to go smooth during your stay and that God will see you safely back home to Woodland. We look forward to meeting Kellum-Ann and know we will get to see her often during baseball season.

Just a little note to say hello. I watched the clock all day yesterday and around 3:30 pm I told the girls in the office that you should be landing. I had you in my thoughts and prayers all day. Cindy called Angie this morning to see what you said about the trip over. I know you were worn out, but glad you had a safe trip. Can't wait to see some more pictures and especially the ones of Kellum-Ann. I'll be praying for you every day. Love, Rhonda
Hey. Great pictures...of course you'd join in on the game...I've had yall on my mind almost constantly. You are so blessed. Hope you continue to have a wonderful trip. Do some site seeing for me!! Please send more pictures, it helps us take the journey with all of you. Can't wait to see a picture of you holding your baby girl!! Yall are in my prayers for a safe journey.

I have thought of you guys so much in the last few days. I just got off the phone with Aunt Faye to tell her that I have seen pictures of you safely on the ground. I'm sure Madison and Kellum-Ann will make good friends at Aunt Fayes. Keep the pictures coming.
