Kellum-Ann's Dedication

We Dedicated Kellum-Ann to the Lord on this past Sunday. We promised to raise her in a Christian home and teach her Godly values.
We are honored to have the opportunity to do these things. She is a blessing to our family and we love her!

After Kellum-Ann's dedication, our family came over for a cookout. We enjoyed this time with our family. It was great to see some of my Aunts that had not yet seen Kellum-Ann!

I think we may need to start working on proper etiquette... for example how to present yourself in front of a crowd, especially a church full of people! Well, at least we know she can do an awesome toe touch...WAR EAGLE!

After everyone was gone, Kellum-Ann and myself got some much deserved rest under the shade trees!

More Pictures From Easter

This is one of my favorite pictures of Kellum-Ann from Easter. She had a great time with all of the family!

She really caught onto the hunting egg concept and then she loved taking them out of her basket and putting them back in as you can see.

Baseballs and Easter Eggs

Nathan had his first baseball game of the season on Saturday. His team won and Kellum-Ann enjoyed watching her big brother. She would go to the dugout and try to climb the fence...it was cute!

Nathan's Lil' Sis

Way to go, Nathan! Great hit and great pitching!

Easter Morning 2006

Kelllum-Ann playing outside

She learned to hunt eggs real quick. Of course she wanted to take a bite out of all of them.

Kellum-Ann loves "Hero". I think she likes the dogs b/c they let her crawl and pull on them whereas the cat will NOT!

Fun on a Wednesday Afternoon

Yesterday we had a great afternoon playing outside. Kellum-Ann loves to be outside. She doesn't play with her toys much... she loves to walk around and explore the yard. I did manage to get her still and Nathan off of his pogo stick long enough to get a picture of them together.

We have 2 Black Labs and one Golden Retriever that Kellum-Ann really loves. She likes Lady the best because she is about 10 years old and is not as hyper as our other younger dogs. So Lady will let Kellum-Ann hug and pull all she wants! I told Kellum-Ann to give Lady love and so she did. She has never been frightened of the dogs... that is a good thing. We are going to get her a Golden Retriever puppy this summer since Hero belongs to Nathan.

After playing hard... what does a little girl do while her mama cooks dinner? Watch a Baby Einstein DVD of course. Kellum-Ann loves this dvd, well it is only one she has, actually! This is Nathan's old rocking chair.

Watch out dogs... here I come! Literally, that is where she was headed. We had just stepped outside and she headed straight to them!

Kellum-Ann has been going to daycare this week and has done great. Well... this morning she figured this thing out and started to reach for the door when we arrived. She did have a little mad fit but got over it quick and I just called and she is playing. Sounds alot like Nathan...
I wished that everyone could see K & N in the mornings, he loves to crawl in her baby bed and wake her up. It is so funny. I do not know how long this will last b/c Nathan is a big 9 year old. The bed may not take it much longer!

We hope everyone has a blessed Easter!

Wow... 3 posts in one day

Kellum-Ann loves to swing. We have spent many days swingin' even if it was cold!

Nathan carries Kellum-Ann around like a sack of potatoes, of course she loves it!

Kellum-Ann is a little wild in the mornings! She explores the entire house and boy have I forgotten how much work a toddler is! Just when I think I have gotten baby-proofed, she finds something else to get into!

Kellum-Ann was playing and then heard the cows bellow, she always listens for a little bit, frozen like a statue and then joins right in! She will even hear them while inside the house and join in.
She is NOT afraid of the cows she goes right up the fence and reaches oput to them and has already seen 2 baby calves been born right in front of her. Her daddy will make her into a cowgirl yet! She loves to ride the 4-wheeler to check all of them and she loves to ride the tractor with her daddy and Nathan!

First Fishin' Trip

We took Kellum-Ann fishing with Nathan last weekend. She really had a good time and loved touching the fish. Our lake is in front of the house so we go fishing often.

Kellum-Ann still continues to take a taste of nature. She grabs a handful of grass or leaves and then takes it up to her mouth and stops to look at me just like this. Of course I say no and she will throw it down just to grab another handful and start the entire process again!

Nathan is such a wondferful big brother. He plays with her and helps me so much! He loves to wake her in the mornings. He crawls in her baby bed and gets her awake... she loves this!

Finally... Some More Pictures

This is the first morning that Kellum-Ann was home. We later got ready and went to church! She did great. You would not know it by looking at the picture but she had been up since 3 am.

This is our Red Couch Picture that is a BIG tradition at the White Swan. Right after this we boarded a bus and headed to the airport to leave China. Leaving China was really emotional for me.

These precious babies were together the entire trip. We really enjoyed gettting to know them and their new families!
Eleenah (10 months), Kellum-Ann (17 months) and Clara (9 months)

Nathan and Kellum-Ann did not seem to be jet lagged like their mama. They played all morning!
